The sale of your land or property can end up being a long and arduous affair with many ups and downs. It is important to partner with a company you trust and an agent you have a good rapport with so the process can be quick and painless.

  1. Meet with the client to discuss goals/objectives, price, commission, timeline etc and any related issues. At this meeting, proof of ownership (title deeds) would be ascertained.
  2. Meet the client at the location for a walk-through. Selling a property requires some good preparation. Tips on how to get the property ready will be discussed because sprucing it up will boost its curb appeal and will ensure it is looking its best.
  3. Meet the client at the real-estate attorney’s office to sign the seller listing agreement* and any related documentation. An attorney is an added expense however you can save a lot of money in the long run and avoid mistakes by seeking professional advice.
  4. Return to the location where our team will survey the land, take any necessary measurements, take pictures/videos and aerial-view videos if needed.
  5. Prepare marketing materials and come up with a sales strategy.
  6. Market the property using newspapers, magazines, cold calling, real estate websites and on social media through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.
  7.  Show the property to all prospective buyers.
  8. Vet all prospective buyers to ascertain credibility and present all offers.
  9. Oversee all negotiations and transactional processes in conjunction with the real-estate attorney because contracts are usually very complicated. Finer details such as items included in the sale price, items in need of repair and date of closing would be discussed.
  10. Close the deal in a timely manner. On this date the lawyer will register the transfer of ownership with the ministry of lands and title deeds will be transferred. Finally, all monies owed would be paid.
